Tasman Day Surgery’s brand new building

Tasman Day Surgery’s brand new building at 341 Lower Queen Street is coming on at great pace!

The building is enclosed now and although Covid has caused minor disruption, the project remains on track for completion early next year.
The building has been visited recently by a number of the future tenants and they are delighted at the quality of the finishes, size of the rooms and the seamless flow between them.

The new and unique, spacious state of the art modular operating theatre on the ground floor is designed and built by Opritech. Configured to accommodate the full range of day surgical procedures performed in New Zealand, it will be a pleasure for surgeons to work in and will enable them to provide top quality care to their patients.

The building incorporates a modern, purpose built, endoscopy unit enabling the community to get colonoscopies and gastroscopies performed in a safe, efficient and welcoming environment. The new facility will be a great help in addressing the backlog of these procedures in the area, and will help with early detection and treatment of bowel cancer.

The first floor has expansive views of the bay and the surrounding hills. A number of prospective tenants are examining options for this space. Some space still remains available and enquiries are welcome. Contact [email protected]
