After graduating from Otago Medical School, James completed specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Dunedin, Christchurch and Nelson and is currently a Senior Medical Officer at Wairau Hospital, Blenheim.
Along with his wife and three children, James says it’s a real pleasure to be living in the Nelson Marlborough Region. He is passionate about providing woman-centred healthcare in an open and approachable manner and he looks forward to supporting the women in the Marlborough region.
In combination with Dr Richard Carpenter, the Tasman Gynaecology Team work together, operate together, and share clinical responsibilities and decision making.
In addition to work at Tasman Day Surgery and Lower Queen Street Specialists, James offers inpatient general gynaecology services through Churchill Specialist Centre.
James is happy to accept direct self referrals from new patients or a referral from a medical practitioner.
